The girls and boys in Room 7 had great fun last week carrying out their own science experiment. They investigated the effects of different liquids on Gummy bears. The children set up and recorded the experiment, made predictions and took careful observations of the changes. The results after 3 days in the liquids!
This week we had great fun exploring invisible forces and learning about static electricity and magnetism We used static electricity to try and pick up different items like feathers, tissues and paper. Science is fun!
To kick off Science Week, we made our own lava lamps in class today. We had so much fun working together to make these lava lamps. We loved watching the colourful bubbles dance throughout the jar! Some more exciting experiments will be taking places throughout the week.
