5th class had an absolute ball getting active for Sports Day and Active Week 2022! We got a chance to practice and develop our skills in badminton, GAA, gymnastics and yoga. We had so much fun moving our bodies this week in our yoga class. It’s great to be active!
Today was Sports Day in school. We had 4 teams in our class: red, green, yellow and blue. We did lots of fun activities, including egg and spoon races, sack races, basketball, football and many others. We even had some ice-cream as a special treat! It was a really fun day!
As part of our Amber Flag renewal we got very Active on Wednesday! All children and teachers got involved. Activities ranged from Limbo, tug of war and even a water fight which the children (and teachers) had great fun doing! We love to get active as a way to look after our wellbeing!
