There was great excitement in 4th class today when we posted our letters to our pen pals. This year we have a great opportunity to write letters to children in a school in Kuala Lumper in Malaysia (thanks to Gill’s connections). All the girls were given a child’s name and wrote a letter to them. We have learned so much; how to write a letter properly, how to address an envelope and how to post a letter or parcel in the post office. We walked to the post office to post our letter. Caroline and Alesha explained to the man in the post office that they would like to post the letter. The girls even practiced their maths skills by working out their change after paying for their parcels. We look forward to receiving letters back.
