As part of the Active School Flag process we are working to develop our links with local sports clubs and other partnerships in the community.We work closely with our Games Promotion Officer Thomas Bourke from our local club, Craobh Chiarain GAA Club.We made links with our local soccer club Donnycarney F.C. who run a soccer academy in our local park, May Park.We also liaised with Antonia Martin from Dublin City Sport and Well being Partnership. To further develop Partnerships with our community, camogie players from Whitehall Colmcille visited our school and helped out with camogie training.For our swimming lessons we engaged with our local swimming pool at Westwood Gym in Clontarf. We have attended football blitz with local schools at Parnells GAA Club in Coolock. We also engaged with Killester Basketball Club and Skip n Rope.Through all our Partnership links the promotion of physical activity and its links to well being were evident to the children.
