The boys in Room 15 planted some bulbs in our garden on Friday. We look forward to seeing some snowdrops, tulips, crocuses and narcissus flowers growing in Springtime!
We had great fun making our own playdough on Wednesday. It was very messy!
Well done to this weeks Students of the Week.
This week our “Buddy’s” got some training on how to be great buddies. They got to do different tasks which gave them a better understanding of what it can be like for some children. It looks they had lots of fun.
This week we started Aistear in senior infants! Our theme for this month is At School. The children are having great fun playing with water, play dough and construction toys. They are also enjoying dressing up and pretending to be the teachers and principal!
This year we are going to try to get our Active Flag. We have set up an active schools committee who will be working together to try to make our school more active. This week we have been doing some morning exercises. We also tried the Cha Cha Slide at assembly.
The Junior Infants really enjoy playing and they have made lots of new friends! Playtime is very important as it develops social skills, imagination and sharing.
We will have another Blue Day this Friday to show our support to the Girls in Blue.
