We had a wonderful week celebrating world book week! We did lots of extra reading and talking about our favourite story characters.
The costumes were fantastic!!
We are now settled in to Term 3 and off to a flying start!
We have been practicing our gymnastic skills in PE. We are especially good at finding new ways to balance!
We were also very lucky to have a chance to explore outdoors in the good weather last week. We checked up on a little bird who is waiting for her eggs to hatch in the bird house.
We also had our drumming workshop last Friday. It was a lot of fun playing with all the musical instruments along with Room 6.
Our Aistear theme for May is The Farm. We have been finding out lots of information about the kinds of animals on the farm, the machinery on the farm and all the jobs the farmer has to do! The boys and girls in Room 1 have been working really hard as farmers.
