What a week we’ve had this week! Everyone must have been eating a really good breakfast because they have been coming into school raring to go! Everyone is working so hard at improving their handwriting, learning their sounds and working with numbers.
We worked on spatial awareness and problem solving by completing some tough jigsaws.
As a class reward for working so hard we went to the ballpool/soft play room on Thursday afternoon. It was our first time in the room and we loved it!
In science this week we talked about magnets and went on a secret mission around the corridors to find things that our magnets stuck to. We also had fun sorting objects that were magnetic.
Our Aistear theme this month has been ‘School’. It has been great fun playing the role of the teacher, building schools with blocks and finding and matching pictures in the rainbow rice.
