We have lots of exciting events coming up over the next few months which you might like to add to your diary.
We are having an open day for prospective Junior Infants on Wednesday 31st January at 12 noon at 7pm. This will be an opportunity for new parents to see the building and have a look around.
Grandparents Day is the 2nd February. Grandparents are welcome to join us for a service in the hall, followed by some activities in the classrooms and then a cup of tea to finish off the morning.
We have an Internet Safety talk for parents on the 6th of February from 7-8pm.
On the 9th of February 2nd, 3rd and 4th class are starting swimming (cost is €30 per child).
We are holding our Book Fair on the 7th of March. This event raises a lot of money for new books for the school.
Finally as you may already have heard we will be doing the musical “Peter Pan” this year. This will be held in Craobh Chiarains’ Hall in April. Auditions are taking place this week and from what I saw the talent is outstanding! I know this will be a very exciting event for the school. Thank you to Ms Manscier and Ms Murphy for organising this.
Irish Club is starting on Monday 22nd January and Art Club is starting soon too.
We are looking forward to continuing this really exciting term here in Our Lady of Consolation. We will keep you posted on the website as to all of the wonderful things we are doing.
