As part of Engineering Week, Second and Third Class took part in a Lego Workshop today. Each girl was given a Lego kit and instruction manual and set about constructing a swing boat. Thanks to Julie-Anne from Citi Bank who facilitated the Junior Achievement Programme in 3rd Class recently. The girls really enjoyed learning about the various zones in the city, the different types of businesses, banking and advertising.
The girls in Third Class have really enjoyed doing gymnastics for PE this month. They spent the last couple of lessons working in groups to create sequences and then perform them for the class. The results were very impressive.
The girls in Third Class have had a fantastic week, preparing for and performing in the school Christmas show. They did a great job! They are now excited for the Christmas holidays and of course the arrival of Santa!
The girls in Third Class have been working really hard at home on their projects about endangered species. The hard work paid off as the results are amazing. Everyone made a great effort and presented their projects excellently to the rest of the class. We all learned a lot from each other.
Thanks to the Parents Association for organising a great trip to the Pantomime Robin Hood today. Everyone really enjoyed it.

The girls in Third Class observed and discussed the famous painting ‘The Scream’ by Edvard Munch. They then drew their version of ‘The Scream’ and surrounded it with things that make them scream!
