We had a great day on the farm today. We fed ducks, hens and lambs, held little chicks and went on a tractor ride. We saw the 3 little bears house, (we even caught a glimpse of daddy bear) the tooth fairy’s castle and the leprechaun’s house. We had a soooo much fun.
Today we had another fantastic day learning new skills in gymnastics! We then played some basketball and finished that with a bit of cosmic yoga!!
Today was sports day and what a fun day we had. We played lots of fun activities and earned so many points for our teams. We can’t wait to see who the big winners are on Friday in assembly.

Senior infants worked very hard this week so a trip to May Park was the best way to end the week. They played in the playground, had a football match with Mr Brennan and had a little snack before heading back to school.
This month our Aistear theme was the dentist. We learned all about cleaning and caring for our teeth and the role of the dentist. We made healthy and unhealthy food with play dough, created a dentist with the small world puppets and role played the dentist surgery.
This week we were learning about caring about ourselves, our bodies and our minds. Each day we did different things that we could do to help our minds. We did mindfulness colouring, yoga, some exercise, dancing, meditation and a walk. We also do some Easter baking too.

Today was a very exciting day. The boys and girls in room 16 went on a very exciting Easter egg hunt. We followed our treasure map (Evan from the parents association did a fantastic job) to find clues that spelt out our secret treasure! We were so happy with our delicious treasure find.
