Releasing our butterflies
Our caterpillars have hatched and have changed into beautiful ‘Painted Lady’ butterflies. They have been living in our classroom for the last two days. We had fun looking after them and making nectar to feed them. We said goodbye and released them today!
Our active nature table
In 5th class we have been busy learning about nature. The children have grown parsley, mint and basil and we have been looking after our very own Venus Fly Trap! Our caterpillars have gone into their chrysalis (cocoon) and we are waiting for them to hatch any day now!
Grandparents Day in 5th Class

This week our “Buddy’s” got some training on how to be great buddies. They got to do different tasks which gave them a better understanding of what it can be like for some children. It looks they had lots of fun.
