The girls and boys in Junior Infants Room 1 have been very busy learning lots of new things this month. In Maths, we have been doing stations where we practise our counting and number recognition. In Literacy we have been doing lots of phonological awareness, learning about rhyming words and syllables. In Art we have been doing printing, painting and drawing. In Drama we have been acting out our favourite story, “The Gingerbread Man”. In PE we have been learning lots of new team games and in Gaelige we learnt about “Mé Féin”. Every morning we practise our fine motor skills like threading, cutting, pinching and colouring. Of course we love to spend time playing with our friends in the yard, with our toys and on the climbing frame! Have a look at all our hard work…
