Thanks to Julie-Anne from Citi Bank who facilitated the Junior Achievement Programme in 3rd Class recently. The girls really enjoyed learning about the various zones in the city, the different types of businesses, banking and advertising.
The girls in Third Class have really enjoyed doing gymnastics for PE this month. They spent the last couple of lessons working in groups to create sequences and then perform them for the class. The results were very impressive.
The girls in Third Class have had a fantastic week, preparing for and performing in the school Christmas show. They did a great job! They are now excited for the Christmas holidays and of course the arrival of Santa!
Craobh Chiarain are hosting a kids Christmas disco tomorrow evening from 7 to 9 in their club hall. A great way to start the Christmas holidays.
The choir spread lots of festive cheer today as they sang Christmas carols at the Donnycarney/Beaumont Care Centre for their annual Christmas lunch.
The girls in Third Class have been working really hard at home on their projects about endangered species. The hard work paid off as the results are amazing. Everyone made a great effort and presented their projects excellently to the rest of the class. We all learned a lot from each other.
Thanks to the Parents Association for organising a great trip to the Pantomime Robin Hood today. Everyone really enjoyed it.
