We had great fun today dressing up as our favourite characters. There was Matilda, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Tom Gates and so much more.
Today we took part in a drumming workshop. We learned the names of different instruments and about different beats and rhythms. We got to play different drums and instruments. Our hands were sore from all the fun drumming!
Today is world Down Syndrome day so today we ‘rocked our socks’ and wore odd socks to school. We learned today how everyone is unique and how no two people are the same. Everyone is their own person and different in their own way.
To celebrate st Patrick’s Day on Sunday and the end of seachtain na gaeilge we had a fantastic céilí together. We had a great week this week celebrating engineer week. Some of us created mazes with Lego and junk art for our hex bugs and the rest of the class had a workshop with Bricks4kidz to create motorised Lego models. We worked really hard and really enjoyed learning how these things work. @PDSTprimSTEM # engineerweek
We had great fun learning about Pancake Tuesday today and why we celebrate it but we had even more fun decorating and eating pancakes. Thanks to Sofia for being a great photographer while teacher was helping us with our pancakes. Think there might have even been a selfie thrown in there 😂😂 .
