Yesterday, Wednesday 25th, our class took a trip into town to see the National Gallery of Ireland.
We had two knowledgable, kind, and patient tour guides- Dolores and Rosemary. These ladies made our experience so informative and most important of all, enjoyable!!!
They taught us so much about art, but Irish art in particular. It was great to learn about Irish artists. Dolores and Rosemary also often asked for our interpretations of the work. We enjoyed sharing our honest opinions. Art is very subjective, so it was important for us to get the chance to analyse the paintings in an artistic safe space. ๐จ๐๏ธ๐ผ๏ธ
We then HAD to treat ourselves after a very busy term. As a class we have worked so hard this term, and it was so nice to sit and relax in Trinity College Dublin while we drank our autumnal beverages.๐ฅฎ๐๐๐
