Intercultural Week was a big hit in 1st Class.

Room 25 had so much fun learning about Ghana and seeing where other classes were also learning about.

Here you can see them working hard on their scavenger hunt:

Everyone picked out countries around the world that were special to them for different reasons:

We loved learning about Ghana, especially as it is so special to one of our classmates and his family.

  • We learned about the flag of Ghana
  • We learned how to say hello and welcome in Twi one of the main languages of Ghana – Agoo!! Akwaba!!!
  • We completed our own projects with interesting facts about Ghana
  • Finally we listened to the Ghana National Anthem while doing our version of weaving Kente cloth patterns, which Ghana is so well known for.
