Senior infants worked very hard this week so a trip to May Park was the best way to end the week. They played in the playground, had a football match with Mr Brennan and had a little snack before heading back to school.

Room 4 are taking part in the Herb Patch Project. We have planted Parsley, Mint, Rosemary, Thyme, Chamomile, Lavender, Marigold, Viola and Lemon balm. They smell amazing! The boys and girls in Room 5 really enjoyed learning about the farm. We had lots of discussions about all the hard work the farmer does. We talked about where does food come from.We named all the farm animals and their babies and listened to lots of lovely stories and songs about the farm.

This month our Aistear theme was the dentist. We learned all about cleaning and caring for our teeth and the role of the dentist. We made healthy and unhealthy food with play dough, created a dentist with the small world puppets and role played the dentist surgery.
This week we were learning about caring about ourselves, our bodies and our minds. Each day we did different things that we could do to help our minds. We did mindfulness colouring, yoga, some exercise, dancing, meditation and a walk. We also do some Easter baking too.
