The boys and girls brought their teddies to school today and we had a teddy bear’s picnic in Maypark. We had so much fun and so did our teddies!

Last month, Senior Infants completed the Junior Achievement Programme. Niamh West, of Citibank, came to our class once a week for five weeks. The boys and girls learned about money, working together and how to save. It was really interesting and a lot of fun!

Last week, camogie started back. Camogie is on every Tuesday after school. The girls have been training really hard and working on their skills. Here are some pictures of the girls in action.
The Bizzy-Break programme is used in our school to get children moving on the spot! Bizzy-Breaks are a great way for children to move all parts of their body and improve their flexibility, strength and aerobic fitness. Check out senior infants in action.
Here are the boys and girls in room four following ‘Cosmic Yoga’. Yoga is great for helping us with our balance, strengthening our bodies and relaxing our minds.
Last month, we learned all about clothes. We had a clothes shop in our classroom and we even became fashion designers for a day!

We are so delighted that Ms. Ní Bhreacháin said that we could play on the playground once a week! We love the slide, climbing frame and the pole. We also love to run, skip and play games using the new yard markings! Dancing on a Friday keeps us on our toes. Being active is great!
